The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking to appoint two full time, fixed term Teaching Fellow to its department of Psychology.
The Opportunity:
The successful post holders will provide high quality teaching delivery and assessment support at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, specifically in the area of developmental psychology.
One of the roles will also be expected to have knowledge and experience of brain imaging research methods.
They will actively contribute to the overall intellectual environment of the School play a collegiate role in the overall functioning of the Psychology Department.
The post is required to start from August/early September 2022, and will be based in our central campus, Edinburgh.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- A postgraduate degree in Psychology or closely cognate field with relevant post-graduate research and/or teaching experience, normally a PhD or equivalent.
- Experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate supervision (and experience in the design and delivery of effective university teaching would be advantageous).
- Postgraduate research experience in developmental psychology, including brain imaging research methods.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of online course delivery.
