NICHD Young Investigator Awards

The FIT’NG meeting provides an invaluable opportunity for many in our field to present their work, to extend their network of colleagues, and pursue specific employment options.

The FIT’NG Society would like to encourage students, research assistants, postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty (e.g. assistant, adjunct or visiting professors) to apply for the Young Investigator Award* to help defray the cost of conference registration. These awards are offered with support from the National Institute of Health (NIH). Individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups in science will be prioritized for these awards. Underrepresented groups, as defined by the NIH, include individuals from underrepresented groups, individuals with disabilities, individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, and women.

Applications are to be completed with your abstract submission and require a CV to be uploaded and an answer to the following question (in approx 200 words):

“Please provide a brief summary of why you want to attend the 2024 FIT’NG Conference and why is this important for your career?”

NIRX is proud to sponsor FIT’NG’s poster awards. All poster abstracts and poster presentations are considered for poster awards. Awardees are notified at the meeting.
