Young Investigator Awards

The FIT’NG meeting provides an invaluable opportunity for many in our field to present their work, to extend their network of colleagues, and pursue specific employment options.

The FIT’NG Society would like to encourage students, research assistants, postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty (e.g. assistant, adjunct or visiting professors) to apply. These awards are allocated based on scientific merit of the submitted abstract, significant scientific contributions to FIT neuroimaging, and an evaluation of their written application. To apply, following abstract submission, please upload your CV and respond to the following question (in approx 200 words).

“Please provide a brief summary of why you want to attend the 2026 FIT’NG Conference and why is this important for your career?”

Individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups in science will be prioritized for these awards. This includes individuals from underrepresented groups (per the NIH definition), individuals with disabilities, individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, and women.

Poster Awards

All poster abstracts and poster presentations are considered for poster awards. Awardees are notified at the meeting.
